With more spiritual significance than a choir sing-off and eternal joy to the world than an entire season of “Glee,” our annual Christmas Concert will take on a different shape in a new venue this year. By special invitation our choir will be joining with St. Paul's choir to help present a terrific Christmas Cantata. This coming weekend the choirs will be singing at St. Paul Lutheran Church's 5:00 PM service Saturday, December 11, 2010, and at the 8:15 AM service on Sunday, December 12, 2010. Pastor Fritz will be assisting Pastor DeMoss for these services. Our congregation is invited to attend and show support for the combined choir. For this one-time, special event we will be worshiping with St. Paul at 85 S. Constitution Drive, Aurora, IL 60506. We will not have worship or Sunday School at Hope at all on December 12, 2010. Because of this change in schedule our December voters' meeting will move to December 19, 2010, at 10:15 AM. A congregational potluck dinner will follow the meeting.

We hope to see you there for this week only and back at Hope for the rest of our Christmas and regular worship schedule. Christmas Eve Candlelight worship begins December 24, 2010, at 7:15PM. Because Christmas falls on a Saturday this year, our Christmas Day carol-sing worship service will be moved to December 26th at 9:00AM.
