In a simply awful anti-Christian skit, “DJesus Uncrossed,” the Saturday Night Live crew depicted Jesus as a vengeful monster resurrected only to exact bloody revenge on His enemies. Ironically, the truth is that all who reject Jesus will have rejected the only hope any of us have of surviving Judgment Day.  However, unlike a Quentin Tarantino protagonist, it will break Jesus' heart to affirm the eternal punishment unbelief brings on all who reject Him.
Christ did not come to condemn the world, but to offer His life as the ransom for us all. “DJesus” was “crossed” (crucified) for the sins of all His mockers, detracters, persecutors, and ignorers so that everyone who trusts in Him might not perish but have everlasting life! He rose from the grave to share eternal life with all who believe in Him! Christ's prayer of absolution for the Roman soldiers nailing Him to the cross, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do!” extends God's grace to all who receive it by faith before their individual demise or the end of the world on Judgment Day.
