Because of Christ's compassion, we and all who trust in Him receive forgiveness of our sins, eternal life and salvation. There will be challenging days. Our finances, health, home, hearth, and loved ones may all experience extreme pressure.  Culture shock, post-Christian and even anti-Christian waves ripple through our society. An extreme drought parches our land and the milk of human kindness has all but disappeared. Yet, we know the love of God which passes all human understanding, giving us peace in our time and the certain knowledge that our heavenly home and home-coming are secured for us by our Lord.
In the long run,  He welcomes us home: “Well done, good and faithful servant, enter the joy of my Father!”  Since we have an eternity of joy and peace awaiting us, let us live passionately in loving service to God and our neigbhor with the time God allows. Through the life-experience God has crafted you and your interests. Are you passionate about sharing Christ's love through: working to end human trafficking? providing a smile to children born with cleft lips or palates? feeding AIDS orphans in Africa? Bible translation and literacy work? starting a new church? mission work in Haiti? stopping drive-by shootings? eliminating bullying? providing clean food and water? supporting survivors of broken families? aiding the unborn? supporting the elderly? aiding the disabled? providing culture that ennobles? or something else? God has placed eternity in the heart of man, but He has placed us here for a limited time only. Ask Him to pour over your passions, to sanctify them, and to move you to act on them!
