If any given candidate is for the execution of his constituents before they are born, what good are any other plans he might have? If a government leader can declare a certain age or class of people “non-persons” (a la Hitler or American slave-owners) and execute them for any reason, can his judgment be trusted on any policy? Would you really want to say, “Except for the concentration camps and murder of millions of innocents, Nazis were a very efficient form of government?” Do we really want to rationalize voting for someone who eagerly supports America's execution of 4,000 of its pre-born babies daily, by adding that (s)he is really great at protecting the rights of those who survive abortion? Certain inalienable rights (life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness) are given to us as gifts from our Creator. Let's not deny them to others of any age by the way we vote.
