It's official. We've got a new song-writer in the family. Our five-year-old grandson was so overwhelmed with love for his Grandma that he wrote lyrics and music for a paean in her honor and choreographed his performance. When the joy in his production flew through cyberspace, it brought my bride to tears of appreciation.
     The Bible tells us of a little boy, born in Bethlehem, whose perfect life and sacrificial death would open the gates of Zion for all who trust in Him. Thankful for all the Christ of Christmas has done for us, we respond with lives of praise: prayers, psalms, hymns, spiritual songs all combine to tell everyone what He has done! Formally and in blank verse we are moved to extoll the generosity, grandeur, and lovingkindness of our God. Sing your praise to the Lord (use words, if necessary)!
