Perhaps it was a slow news or sports day, but last Sunday's Chicago Tribune Sports Section contained part of a Chicago sports fan's obituary. Her family remembered her for being a woman of strong opinion, fond of Chicago sports, but not of Jay Cutler.

Without researching the entire obituary and whatever you think of Jay Cutler's play as an NFL quarterback, let me convey my hope and prayer for you that: your obituary is written years and years from now; that it recognizes you as a child of God by grace through faith; and that your busy, living, and active faith commends itself to your extended family and community in word and deed.

Jesus is the resurrection and the life, all who believe in Him will live even though they die! May their good works and legacy of faith live on after them, as well!
