New research has just been licensed in the United Kingdom concerning the editing of human DNA. We are told to rest assured that controls are in place and that all research on human embryos will be overseen by an ethics committee which has agreed that all embryos must be destroyed after testing!!!!!
This begs the question: whose ethics were developed by committee? The Bible is clear and biological science agrees that human life begins at conception. The fact that these embryos were discarded by their parents does not absolve those who would experiment on them or destroy them in a “research ends justify Dr. Mengele means” Faustian bargain.
“You will not kill” remains a commandment even in a world compromised by ethics by committees. Murder approved by committee is still murder. On Judgment Day God and not some unethical committee will judge. Repent and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
