Bruce Springsteen and members of his band have provided music and opinions on social issues for decades. Lately, they have judgmentally and intolerantly lectured the people of North Carolina, claiming to know what is “right” and moral.
God loves all people and hates all sin. Christ has lived a perfect life and died a brutal death to reconcile the fallen world to our just and righteous and holy God. “Repent! The Kingdom of heaven is at hand,” remain the words of our Lord (at whose Name every knee shall bow). Our Almighty God is the real BOSS and will remain so forever. As His creatures, we should read, trust, and obey His Word. THE BOSS of heaven and earth has the last Word on what is genuinely right, moral, and beneficial for individuals, societies, and our world. Militantly calling evil good and good evil does not make it so. Calling on the Name of the Lord, trusting everything the Bible has to say as the inerrant Word of God, and walking humbly before Him will lead to a satisfying pilgrimmage here on earth and a joyful eternity in heaven.
